Our Impact

Leawood Rotary has established the Leawood Rotary ACT (A Child's Tomorrow) Fund through which we support many local organizations that are important to our members.  Fundraising activities throughout the year enable us to make impactful contributions to organizations throughout the Kansas City metro that benefit families and children.

Community Donations

 
Past President Steve Black and new President Rod Pemberton presented Nina Kimbrough, Executive Director of the Johnson County Christmas Bureau, with $5000 to help local families. JCCB has been serving neighbors in need since 1960.
Community Service Chair Chuck Sipple and President Elect Rod Pemberton visited the Rotary Youth Camp along Lake Jacomo in May and donated $1300 in support of young campers, many of whom live with physical, mental or emotional challenges. 
Leawood Rotary Club was delighted to present Project C.U.R.E. with a check for $6,000.
